Tight on long/medium heads

My head is a bit long and skinny. I'm 5'9 and 160lb. The cap feels great if I look up, but it chokes me in a neutral head position, and especially when I look down. A great cap for people with symmetrical/smaller heads though.

My original cap from your company was thicker, warmer. This one is thin. I wonder why?

Hello Mary, The thickness of our swim cap has never changed; It has always been 3 mm. Can I ask, are you putting it on properly? NOTE ON HOW TO PUT IT ON: People intuitively want to put their head into the bigger of the two openings, but that won't work. Put your head first into the small opening of the cap as that part goes around your neck and the big part is your face. You'll know if you have it on correctly when the Also, if you want to be warmer here is a TIP FROM EMILIO: Swimming in really cold water? Try Emilio's GreenGoma™ Swim Cap Sandwich Ingredients: 1 GreenGoma™ Swim Cap, 2 latex rubber or silicone swim caps. Put on the first latex rubber swim cap. Make sure it covers your temples and forehead. Put on the GreenGoma™ Swim Cap over the first latex swim cap. Again and more importantly, make sure it covers your temples and forehead and that it sits just above your eyebrows as shown in the photo. This will eliminate "Brain Freeze", or "Ice Cream Headache." Finally put on the last latex cap. Make sure it covers the front and back of the GreenGoma™ Swim Cap. If done properly, your hair will most likely be dry when you exit the water, but more importantly, your head and your body will stay warm...and your fingers will actually work! I have raced Escape from Alcatraz over a dozen times (twice without a wetsuit). I have raced in the Puget Sound, the English Bay in Vancouver, and in the Milford Sound on New Zealand's South Island. Escape from Alcatraz

Used in this years Escape Triathlon . Super cold Water and crazy currents . Thank goodness for the T1 wetsuit and Swim Cap. Had a super hard but good swim and was thankful for the extra movement thru the 2 piece allowing for more power thru the shoulders. 43 minute swim was longer than I wanted but after seeing everyone else’s times I was happy. Head stayed warm and no brain freeze in the water.

wet suit and cap

i also bought a suit w/ the cap. both are excellent for warmth and flexibility. Not sure if i'm moving any faster, but that wasnt my goal. it's a joy to be in the water even in low to mid 50's temps.

Great Swim Cap

I swim several days a week, year 'round-my body temp thermostat is a bit off so I tend to be cold when others are fine. This swim cap is very effective at allowing me to swim and makes a several degree difference. So for anyone who needs help when the water temp is low this is the cap for you.

Good, but too small for me

I’m sure it is great, but if you have a big head it might be too small. At least I thought so. The chinstrap is too tight on me. Otherwise very nice.
