Fit Type: Compressive

Fit Note – Triathlon apparel is meant to fit next-to-skin. This is to eliminate potential chafing, and unnecessary drag during the swim, bike and run. If you’re not comfortable with this type of fit and or are between sizes, we recommend sizing up. Garment will relax slightly once wet.

Features & Benefits:

  • 7mm Clasico Integrated Pad has 4-way stretch, is soft next-to-skin, has no seams to eliminate chafing, and offers antimicrobial properties.
  • Seamless inner thigh eliminates friction
  • 3-inch Mobius™ Comfort Compression Leg Band offers equally graduated compression around the legs,  you get the same support with no tightness and squeezing.
  • Two Waterlid™ Pockets - one on side of each leg. These pockets are hydrodynamic when swimming without a wetsuit and provide storage solutions for the bike and run.
  • Forza™ Compressor leg panels help reduce delayed onset muscle fatigue

Perfect bike short as an “in between “

This is my second pair of Riviera Tri shorts. I find the fit a teeny bit snug but not problematic- I am 5’6”, 135 lbs, very lean and have the size small. I live in Texas and for me this is the perfect short for two things: outdoor training in hotter times of year and indoor training on my Peloton. In both cases I want something less than my full on road bike kit. The pad is super comfortable but slightly less bulky than full road kit pants yet much more comfortable than the skimpy race day triathlon shorts. I have raced in the Riviera and it works well under a wetsuit. It’s a great middle option for me. The pad is the key for me. Consider sizing up if you are not of a lean build.

Best tri / bike shorts . Hands down.

This is my 3rd pair of these, fit great, feel great, very well made. They may cost more, but they are worth it.

    Great Product

Really love the Hydrodynamic Waterlid™ pockets. They work great for safely holding my phone and allowing easy access.

Going to look great @ IMLOU!

I already had the matching Tri Top, so this was a “no brainer”. Years of experience, and DeSoto is my only choice. No problems with the 7mm pad, even after 112 miles.

    Quality through and through

I have always bought Desoto because of the quality and these shorts are above the bar as well. Well constructed and proportioned. These will easily last me the entire year. Pay once for quality and save in the long run. These shorts are well worth the price.

    Thank you

I have not used the shorts yet. This is my second pair and I have no doubt I will like this pair as much as the first.
