Our Femme Riviera Tri Short is better than ever! It now features a 6mm quick-drying, moisture-wicking triathlon pad for ultimate comfort in the saddle and will go virtually unnoticed during the run. 

Sizing: Please refer to the size chart button above for sizing guidance. 
Fit Type: Compressive
Fit Note: Please do not assume your size is the same as previous years, please use our size chart and if in doubt, email us: femme@desotosport.com. Triathlon apparel is meant to fit next-to-skin. This is to eliminate potential chafing, and unnecessary drag during the swim, bike and run. If you’re not comfortable with this type of fit and or are between sizes, we recommend sizing up. Garment will fit the most snug the first time you put it on, it will relax slightly once wet.
Customer feedback indicates sizing down if you are between sizes.

    Perfect fit and "just right" compression

    New to triathlon, but a road cyclist for years, I bought the Riviera Tri Short to match my recreational tri team's shirt. When I received these I thought that size L might be wishful thinking (I'm 5'2" and 135 lbs.) until I put them on. The shorts fit perfectly, and the compression was just right. These are the best shorts that I've worn. Ever. (And they look great!)

    Newbie Triathlete Approved

    I'm new to the triathlon sport. I'm a runner and began biking while recovering from an injury. I loved it! Told my PT I was considering a triathlon and she loved it! She is an accomplished triathlete! I turned 50 this year, learned how to swim more than a doggie paddle and completed my 1st triathlon in the White Mountains of NH. These shorts paired with my full zip cooling top in Entropy of Color were PHENOMENAL! They were great under my wetsuit and fantastic during the ride and run. No chafing and just the right amount of padding in the shorts. I am in love with Triathlons and in love with De Soto! I'm a customer for life! Customer service is great for help with sizing!!

    Perfect tri short- great quality

    Theae tri shorts have a comfortable hight waist. They look great on and fit perfectly around the legs. I just used them for training and racing and loved them.

    Great product

    Wore them for half Ironman recently and will be using them for the full Ironman Australian race in a couple of weeks time. Very comfortable and practicle - slightly longer leg length which I like.

    First 70.3

    Amazing shorts! I did my first 70.3 in them. I have tried other tri shorts but the padding was too thin. I was worried about bumping the padding up for the run, but they did great there too. If I ever do another one- these will be my go-to shorts! I am incredibly happy with them!

    Love the pad!

    DeSoto has the best cycling chamois for women of any trisuits that I’ve researched or owned. The only thing I would change would be to make the waist a bit higher, but then I have a 60 year old tummy to cover. :) They have the “cooler” material added, so I’m looking forward to the warmer weather to see how it feels.

    Best Tri shorts to date

    I’ve been having relationship issues with my saddle lately, and was worried that none of my tri shorts would be help make even a 25 mile ride very tolerable. The Riviera, with the thicker chamois, is the most comfortable tri short I’ve found. I’ve ridden for an hour and half with no issues, which is great. Also ran off the bike once, and they were very comfortable. Love the side pocket!

    Most comfortable tri shorts ever!!!

    These are the tri shorts I've been looking for for 10 years. They are supportive but not overly constricting, the pad is the most comfortable on the bike of any tri short I've experienced, and running in them is easy. I love the drawstring which ensures you get the perfect fit for that day. Wore these for a half IM and could probably wear for a full (if I was still doing that distance). Please don't ever retire these!!!

    LOVE LOVE LOVE these shorts!!!

    They are comfy & HAVE POCKETS!!! Just the perfect amount of padding that is comfy but you don’t feel like you are wearing a diaper. I wish I could afford all colors!

    Buy a size up

    Cut a little small but other than that, they're great. I ride a recumbent so don't need a big chamois; these are perfect for riding in a "legs up" position; the light structured chamois insures comfort and modesty.
